On May 31, 2012, the Michigan Supreme Court handed down a decision in People v. Kolanek that will provide some much-needed guidance to lower courts, prosecutors, and defense attorneys dealing with the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act (MMMA), MCL 333.26421 et seq.
